The experience of recent years has shown that the vocational education and training credit system (ECVET) cannot be adapted generally and utilized so well in practice as in higher education. Therefore, since 2020, the focus has been placed on sustainable competitiveness, social equity and resilience. On the proposal of the European Commission, National VET Teams were established in the member states. The task of the experts working in National VET Teams is to support the actors of national vocational education and training – primarily the ones who participate in Erasmus+ projects (both mobility and partnership) and – to motivate them to learn European VET tools and integrate those methods into everyday vocational education and training as well as VET Erasmus+ programmes.
